A Message from the Founders
Yahtue Industrial was founded in 2018 by the Adams family and Robyn Villebrun to create a premium quality Indigenous construction company. Our goal is to provide both improved economic and personal benefits in the Indigenous communities, as well as an efficient, safe service to our clients.
Yahtue has partnered with Phoenix Industrial; a family-owned construction company with a history of more than 26 years of completing successful projects. Fully understanding the importance of community and inclusion, Phoenix will work with Yahtue and community contractors to provide the services required for your project.
This strategic partnership will enable Yahtue to establish mutually-beneficial relationships with suppliers and vendors, providing a value-based service to our clients. We will strive to ensure resources are used locally and efficiently, engaging in broad-based community involvement, thus creating sustainability.
Yahtue will provide a variety of benefits that go beyond simply finding staff. This includes creating skilled career paths, encouraging mentorship, integration, equity and inclusion. Our History
Yahtue Industrial was a concept born from necessity. With a distinct lack of female leadership within the oil and gas industry, we knew it was time to make a change. As one of the first female-owned oil and gas construction companies in Alberta, we know the value of perseverance and hard work. We pride ourselves on pushing past the status quo and bringing great ideas to life. Our President, Robyn Villebrun, is a well-respected female entrepreneur from the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation, and exudes our values of trust, visibility, and integrity.
